Why Organic

Organic products are not contaminated by chemicals that may cause health problem. Over 400 chemical pesticides are routinely used in conventional farming and residues are often present in non-organic food.

Organic produce is rich with vitamins. On average, organic food contains higher levels of vitamin C and essential minerals such as calcium, magnesium, iron and chromium as well as cancer-fighting antioxidants.

Organic farming protects nature. Organic farming is better for wildlife, causes lower pollution from sprays, produces less carbon dioxide - the main global warming gas - and less dangerous wastes.

Intensive farming can seriously damage farm workers’ health. There are much higher instances of cancer, respiratory problems and other major diseases in farm workers from non-organic farms.

Organic food is not really more expensive than conventional agriculture. We pay for conventional foods through our taxes, as the world is spending billions of EU every year cleaning up the mess that agro-chemicals make to our nature and to our health.

And one more: when you try it – you will find out that organic produce simply tastes so much better!
